FAQ's:

What is a Love Garden?
A Love Garden, in it's simplest definition, is a garden that is grown for at least 10% of it's food to be donated to our neighbors in need.

Who big does the garden have to be?
The Garden can be as big, or as small, as you would like.  It is completely up to you.

What kinds of foods would I grow?
The Love Garden Project has put together a list of crops you can grow that are appropriate to Minnesota climate and soil.  (See "Your Love Garden" section)

Where does the food go?
The food will go to the Lindstrom, MN food shelf and possibly other outlets if we can grow more than enough food!

How do I start a Love Garden?
If you would like to start a Love Garden, you simply need to contact us and we will meet with you at your convenience to plan out your garden.

When would my garden be installed?
We would hope to get the soil for your garden prepared by May 15th, and everything planted by June 1st.

How much would my garden cost?
This is completely dependent upon your garden.  Size, crops, fencing, and more determine your cost.  Upon meeting and planning your garden, you will have a better idea of how much your garden will cost.
